Operational focus

Make the material journey visible.

01

Persistent device identity

Connect each decision to observed material evidence and the context needed to act.

02

NFC-assisted commissioning

Connect each decision to observed material evidence and the context needed to act.

03

Harsh-environment enclosure

Connect each decision to observed material evidence and the context needed to act.

How the tag is used

Activate. Register. Deploy. Track.

The MuckPuck broadcasts encrypted identity and location information through Peytec’s WPSN™ network, including while buried beneath a muck pile.

  1. 01

    Activate

Hover the supplied magnet over the MuckPuck to turn on the tag.

  2. 02

    Register

Use a smartphone with NFC to assign critical information such as muck type and grade.

  3. 03

    Deploy

Place the activated MuckPuck on the desired muck pile at its point of origin.

  4. 04

    Track

Follow the identified pile from the blast area through haulage to the mill, crusher or processing destination.

Fixed gateways and readers detect the tag’s WPSN™ transmissions so teams can monitor material movement in the web or mobile application.
