With the implementation of MuckPuck™, the goal is to reduce the ore routing issue from 4% to 0.5% and ore dilution 12.5% to 2.5%, the estimated savings would be approximately $407,000 USD.

MuckPuck™ Tag Range Test

Peytec conducted a communication range test for its MuckPuck™ tags, demonstrating their ability to maintain connectivity over 100 meters, even when buried under 20 tons of muck. This performance, similar to conditions underground and at the center of a truckload, highlights the MuckPuck™ tags’ exceptional communication capabilities and robustness in challenging mining environments.

Peytec conducted a ruggedization test at Macassa Mine in Ontario, Canada, to assess the durability of its MuckPuck™ Tags. The challenging conditions simulated the harsh mining environment, and nearly 100% of the tags survived, proving their exceptional resilience and reliability in real-world scenarios.
